Berenika Pyza

Born 1993, Poznań

Graduate with an MA degree from the Faculty of Sculpture and Spatial Activities of the University of the Arts in Poznań. Participant in the group exhibition “Best Diplomas 2017” at the Grand Armoury in Gdańsk, the Open Platform within the “Contexts” International Festival of Ephemeral Art in Sokołowsko alongside the Zapora Group (2017) and in the international plein air in Orońsko and Pionki (2017).

Pyza works in the field of performance art and creates soft sculptures made of fabric. The artist writes: “I try every day anew to attentively observe ordinary phenomena in order to be able – on special occasions – to analyse them in cosmogonic contexts. Minute things (that usually go unnoticed) contain particles of important and momentous events, little testimonies to our participation in eternal circulations.”
