Bogna Juchnowicz

Born 1994, Łódź

In 2016, Juchnowicz received a BA diploma from the Faculty of Visual Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź (specialising in graphic design), where she is currently pursuing her MA degree (specialising in intermedia). Participant in group exhibitions, such as: “Workplace” at the Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts in Piotrowska St. in Łódź (2017) and “Metamorfosis#1” (Athens, 2017). Awarded with a distinction from the Municipal Art Gallery in the Władysław Strzemiński Competition – Fine Arts.

Juchnowicz is active in the fields of painting, drawing, photography, animation, and recently also performance art. “It begins with an idea that I want to convey, and later I think about how I can offer it to the viewer. I’m interested in the sphere of my inner experiences. In my work I want to express my own emotions and experiences in a universal way.” [BJ]
