Dominika Gierszewska

In 2017, she received a BA diploma from the Faculty of Sculpture and Spatial Activities at the University of the Arts in Poznań (Spatial Activities Department, 6th sculpture studio of Professor Marcin Berdyszak), where she is currently pursuing her MA degree.

Dominika Gierszewska is active in the fields of performance, ceramics and installations. Her works also incorporate text, for instance in the form of visual poetry. Her inspiration comes from nature, primarily its cyclical character, dualism, changeability and the struggles waged within it. “In my activities, I try to depict struggle undertaken by the individual and the power to reach the goal – the goal may be everything” – Gierszewska explains.
