Architect and engineer by education, Semerenko works across a variety of media, such as photography, video, performance, installations and sculpture. In the recent years, he has participated in a wide range of projects, exhibitions, competitions and residencies primarily in Ukraine.

His activities occupy the intersection of architecture, design, street art and activism.
