The group is made up of Hortense Gauthier (born 1983) and Philippe Boisnard (born 1971). Hortense Gauthier studied political sciences, history and geography. Since 2003, by means of various media (audible, visual, digital, as well as the body), she has been probing her own area of exploration for the physical existence of writing. Philippe Boisnard is a writer, performer, and deals with digital art. For 9 years, he has been developing a multimedia (digital) method of poetry-making, by combining literature with new technologies. They have been working together for several years as HP Process. They refer to their artistic output as digital action poetry. They explore the relationship between the body and technology; examine visual, sound, digital and physical dimensions of writing. They use voice, breathing, body movement that, when processed by a computer, create audible images and electronic sound poetry.
