Nadia Markiewicz

Student at the Faculty of Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw since 2015. Participant in group exhibitions, such as “utopia/dystopia” at Spokojna Gallery at the Academy in Warsaw (2017) and “Holiday Break” at the Salon Gallery at the Academy in Warsaw (2017).

Nadia Markiewicz is active as a performer. She describes her inspirations as follows: “I became interested in processing such materials as trash and content found online. In the video Internet Comments I carried out performance scripts found among comments on contemporary art. I thus made an attempt to ‘recycle’ ideas and depict the way in which the media shape public opinion.”
