Olga Winiarczyk

Born 1991, Lublin

Holder of a BA and MA diploma in painting and media arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw; she also studied at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Budapest. Winiarczyk has performed at the “Contexts” International Festival of Ephemeral Art in Sokołowsko and the Kyiv Art Week (both in 2017). She has also presented her installations and video works within various other festivals and events in Budapest, Krakow and Warsaw.

Winiarczyk explores direct performance that operates with simple gestures, sincerity, contact with people and adapts to places and situations with the aim of breaking existing mental habits and putting vigilance to test.
