Born 1981
Graduated from the Higher School of Art in Liège, Belgium, in 2004. An audiovisual artist; originator of the electroacoustic project Y.E.R.M.O., presented in Luxembourg Pavilion at the 2009 Venice Biennale. Manages an independent record company Idiosyncratics Records. Works as a composer and sound designer in the National Theatre of the French Community in Brussels, Belgium. The basis of his artistic exploration is the recontextualisation of objects and ideas including: forms of aesthetic transgression, purposeful irritation of perception and provoking the audience to reflection. In his interventions, combines picture with sound generated by electronic equipment, own voice, things and self-prepared instruments. Sometimes inspired by commonly known pieces of music, reinterpreted to reveal new possibilities and tensions.
